Lightbulb How to find out if AdWords by Google really work...

If you are considering purchasing advertising on Google, here is a quick tip:

If you are a massage therapist or personal trainer -> do a google search for "massage, Chicago". When you get the results -> visit the sites that come up and contact the massage therapists and ask them politely if they are getting their monies worth.

This is by far the quickest way to learn if this advertising strategy works. I would do something like that in different cities and than evaluate the results.

You should never purchase on line advertising without doing your own research first.

Good idea. I am not using on line advertising right now. Distributing brochures and word of mouth works for me. But with the new year I might look into calling others and asking them about the results of Google Adwords.

I have a better idea for you.... I own several businesses, at one point we would pay over 200 a week for print ads. Goodle Ad Sense does work but you will end up paying about 3 to 4.00 for each click... I know I tried it and within 2 days the bill was over 85.00 there is a better way.

Place ads in the FREE Classified ads by doing a FREE CLASSIFIED City Name search on Google to find them in your area. Then, at the bottom of the ad put the WORDS that are UNIQUE to your business.

These fee classified get all the spider search engines and they will come up closer to the TOP then your personal home web pages.

I have stopped paying for print ads and just use the internet ads now with all my business... I am more than happy of the response from the interent customers.

We have had great response with google ad. We are paying about $500.00 a month and we are averaging about $1500 on ROI or more on return. Plus, most clients are staying to continue, so the cost of one client who might average about 6 months with us, spends about $1500. That is one client. Now, the google pay per click will be really tested this New Year when everyone is searching. We are located in Coral Gables, Florida.
