Thumbs up Health Care Meltdown by Robert H. LeBow, M.D.

I have just finished reading this book. On the cover of the book it reads:

"Confronting the myths and fixing our failing system"

The books starts with debunking some of the myths that are promoted on the American people about health care. Most of them are self explanatory and others not. The book than goes into steps that must be taken to get the universal health care solution started.

Author is a doctor yet he is harsh on the American Medical Association charging them with "lack of respect" for the health of most of Americans and protecting the interests of few people at the cost of many.

It is an easy read and sad because the author is no longer alive. He died of a car accident. Maybe that is the reason why I decided to write about this book here. I didn't know the author passed away until I reached the end of the book.

I give this book thumbs up!
